By downloading or using HireLedger, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you don’t agree, you should not use the software or website.

1. Overview

HireLedger is a desktop application that helps users track their job applications and related data. It’s distributed through Gumroad and developed by an independent creator. The app is offered “as-is,” with no guarantee that it will be free of bugs or interruptions.

2. License

When you purchase (or receive) HireLedger, you’re granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the software on your own devices. You may not redistribute, resell, or modify the app for commercial purposes without written permission.

3. Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed securely by Gumroad. We don’t store or have access to your payment information. Refund requests are handled through Gumroad in accordance with their Terms of Service. Reasonable refund requests within 14 days of purchase may be approved.

4. Data Ownership

All data you create inside HireLedger is yours. It remains stored locally on your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up or sync it. The developer has no access to your local data.

5. Updates

Free updates for the current major version (for example, 1.x) are included with your license. Future major versions or premium features may be offered as paid upgrades. Automatic updates may download and install new versions of the software.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use HireLedger or its website for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity, including attempts to hack, reverse-engineer, or distribute unauthorized copies of the app.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app, including data loss or loss of opportunity.

8. Termination

You may stop using HireLedger at any time. The developer reserves the right to revoke licenses or access for users who violate these terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of the page indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the new terms.
